Events for Alpha Phi Parents
Each semester Alpha Phi hosts events for parents. In the fall, we plan events for our moms and dads as part of Texas Tech's Parent's Weekend. On Friday night, our parents come to dinner with us, where they have a chance to meet the sisters of Alpha Phi and their parents. On Saturday, we usually have an afternoon barbecue and attend a Texas Tech football game. Then on Sunday we host an elegant tea for moms, while dads go for a round of golf.
In the spring, we host our annual Mother's Weekend. This special weekend gives us a chance to share the Alpha Phi sisterhood with our moms. In the past moms and daughters have attended wine-tastings at Caprock Winery, gone antique hunting, and shared a Victorian Tea at the lodge, complete with fancy hats and lace gloves.
As you can see, when your daughter joins Alpha Phi, there are many chances for you to become involved too. We love our Alpha Phi moms and dads!
